Hype for the Future 146T: Benton and Franklin Counties, Washington

Overview Within the southeastern portion of the State of Washington, west of the Palouse region, are the Tri-Cities along the Columbia River named Kennewick, Pasco, and Richland. The communities are split between Benton County to the west and Franklin County to the east, with the City of Pasco serving as the county seat of Franklin County. The region is of notable historical significance and is culturally related to communities throughout the central portion of the state.
