It was re-recorded in 2003 with vocals by #AlexBand of #theCalling and released as the third single in the United States on June 16, 2003. Both versions of the single charted in the US while the #AlexBand version peaked at number 21 in New Zealand.

It was composed by #GreggAlexander (as Alex Ander) and #RickNowels. The song was released as a #single on September 23, 2002, and won a #GrammyAward for #BestPopCollaborationWithVocals. Commercially, "The Game of Love" peaked at number five on the US #Billboard Hot 100 chart.
