Hike.
For the first time in nearly five years of living in Tucson, Earl joined me for a hike in nearby Saguaro National Park East. I’m proud of him for all of his healthy endeavors that brought him to be able to enjoy this hike with me.
We started at the end of Speedway Blvd. on the east side of Tucson at the Douglas Spring Trailhead. We hiked up to the Wildhorse Pools and back, clocking in a hike at six miles, with about 700 feet of elevation gain.
It was a wonderful hike and a beautiful morning together.

I’m finding my groove with my hiking videos and the approach I’m taking to video editing and design in general. Not only am I enjoy the hikes, I’m also really enjoying sharing my experiences in this way.

I had never been to #SaguaroNationalPark before this past week. It was the 21st park I’ve visited. My expectations were quite low, it didn’t have any mountains or grand vistas, it just has a bunch of cacti. But I’ve got to say, those low expectations were greatly exceeded. The saguaro cactus are huge, and more amazing was the way they created a forest all up the mountain side. #landscapephoto #landscapephotograpy #nationalparks

There were a surprising amount of people out and about today. We went to #saguaronationalpark . It’s a unique NP that is divided into two locations, one on either side of the city of Tucson.
There were flocks of people at the visitor center, and a fair amount on the hiking trails. Mind you, Saguaro is not a very popular NP, in comparison to the more well-known destinations, but for what it is, and for the day we went on, it was busy.
