I was Today Years Old when I found out about Open Course World, a reimplementation of Super Mario Maker 2's Course World that can be accessed by both modded Switch systems and (at least the Ryujinx-)Emulator.
Works pretty great on Steam Deck, and if you already have courses on the official Course World for Super Mario Maker 2, you can also have them imported into Open Course World.

The ldn_mitm module is awesome, currently playing #AnimalCrossing together on my hacked #Switch and #SteamDeck in an emulator. No trouble visiting each other etc.

Mario & Luigi #Brothership endlich completed. Das hat 62 In-Game-Stunden gedauert… Das Spiel ist mechanisch großartig, aber etwas weniger Cutscenes hätten es auch getan. Aber das beste ist: Ich habe das komplette Spiel auf dem SteamDeck gespielt, mit #Ryujinx, dem Open-Source-#Switch-Emulator, den Nintendo zerstört hat, bevor das Spiel erschienen ist. Und es hat tadellos funktioniert, von wenigen Abstürzen und Grafikglitches abgesehen. Und das gab mir die größte Befriedigung dabei.

Apparently #Nintendo killed the Switch emulator #Ryujinx! (and it's #flatpak package).
I assume, obviously Nintendo pressured the maintainer into deleting all source code and the project.

Today has been a good day, overall, kept relatively busy with work. And, I got TOTK to work at 4K 60FPS on my Gaming PC. What a spectacular time it is for gaming!
I've been dying to play this at a much higher resolution and framerate, and now it's possible!

Hey, the #ArchLinux User Repository (AUR) has an ryujinx-git update now. I was skeptical. This package builds itself directly from git, but there is no official #Ryujinx Git anymore (after that recent Nintendo threat). Also the pkgbuild shows a new maintainer ("username227" - hmm) and there is no communication about it (at least not within the AUR structures). When looking further into the pkgbuild, the git repo was changed (of course) to a fork called "GreemDev" which is quite active and even touches the emulator logic itself – other than most other whatever Emu forks that do things with the GUI and sometimes even malicious stuff, but often not more. Commit b21740c shows, they intend to be a direct continuation of the original. Looks better already.
Also back to the AUR package's new maintainer "username227". He maintains quite a bunch of packages, so he seems legit. Also the pkgbuild is fine, straight to the point, no strange things happening there.
While this is all no guarantee to be all good, I've tried it, being a Nintendo #Emulator addict that I am.
It works fine, it has a nice new happy little rainbow icon 🌈, and it picked up my config (including firmware) and game saves just fine.
Anyway: Just because I say it's fine, it doesn't have to be, so use it at your own risc. Stupidly the git fork location is on GitHub again, I mean, do people never learn? I give it 2 months max, before Nintendo cracks down on this as well.
Last thing. If you like an emulated switch game and you can afford it, buy it! It's only fair towards the developers.
