Immagina di leggere , affitta al posto di acquista …. Poi se vuoi procedi. Ma sappi che quella licenza la possono revocare quando vogliono oppure cambiare retro attivamente le clausole e tu non puoi fare nulla. #stopdestroyingvideogames #supportofisico

We managed to bring the conversion therapy ban over the finish line.
This is nowhere a life-or-death matter as that one, of course, but there are many, many gamers who would definitely support this if they saw it. And it shouldn't even be controversial for anybody else, unless they're EA shareholders.
Can we maybe try to spread the word?

Esta iniciativa solicita que se exija a los distribuidores que venden o conceden licencias de videojuegos a los consumidores de la Unión Europea (o prestaciones y elementos vendidos para los videojuegos que comercializan) que mantengan dichos videojuegos en un estado funcional (apto para el juego).En concreto, la iniciativa pretende evitar la desactivación en remoto de los videojuegos por parte de los distribuidores, sin antes proporcionar medios razonables para que estos videojuegos sigan funcionando sin la implicación del distribuidor.
Con la iniciativa no se pretende adquirir la propiedad de dichos videojuegos, los derechos intelectuales conexos ni los derechos de monetización, ni se espera que el distribuidor proporcione recursos para dichos videojuegos una vez que deje de fabricarlos dejándolos en un estado razonablemente funcional (apto para el juego).

Apparently #Nintendo killed the Switch emulator #Ryujinx! (and it's #flatpak package).
I assume, obviously Nintendo pressured the maintainer into deleting all source code and the project.
