Thanks! 😊 The screenshot is from intervals.icu. I take the workouts from my #Runmotion training app and put them into intervals.icu because that gives a great overview and the opportunity to draw all kind of nice graphs. -

15min row and #Runmotion strength training.
Tomorrow 15km trailrun with buddy Anne.

My scheduled #runmotion bike and hike/running workouts decrease in time this week.
Tomorrow a final 1.5hr hike/run before the taper week towards the Haute Ardenne Trail (35km/1300hm) next week Saturday.
That trailrun will be my new longest distance milestone.
It will also be my first test with Tailwind nutrition. -
Sunday, Strength day.
Started with 2x the #runmotion strength & Conditioning circuit.
After doing these exercises now for some weeks I already noticing leg strength and balance improving. And that was much needed. I never realized until now how much neglected it was.
After the circuit I did an EXR Aerobic row workout. It is a nice addition to the strength exercises. -
I start to like these #runmotion hike/run workouts.
At the easy pace I can roam around for hours.
Something I really enjoy. -

I underestimated the 12x1min interval workout of today a little bit.
Running 12 all-out sprints with only 1 min recovery in between is tough but fun.

That is interesting. I probably fall into the same category (not able to run a full 100miler) so I am experimenting with Hike/run strategies to.
#Runmotion also supports that so it seems a good approach to extend and control my race distance. How did you determine your hike/run ratio? I guess it depends also on the race but do you also have a preference that works best for you? -
Today's 3hr #runmotion hike/run workout was a good moment to test my average endurance pace for run/hike events.
So I created a Garmin workout with 6 blocks of 30 minutes. Each block consisted of 24min Z2 running and 6 min hiking (80/20%).
Afterwards the average pace was 7:49/km over 23km with which I am satisfied. The only thing left now is to train up to a race distance of 80km maintaining the pace 😆

Today I felt I was finally fully recovered from last week's fastpacking adventure.
Power and cadence on the bike came very easy and my heart rate accelerated very smoothly which for me is a true sign of recovery.
Tomorrow a 3hr easy hike/run.
Look forward to that 😃. -

Today's workout: 10x25sec Hill reps.
So I took the car to drive to the nearest hill (which can take some time here in NL 😆).
Did my 48 minutes workout and drove back home.

#RunMotion had an 2hr30 easy endurance ride planned for me today.
It could have been easy if I had checked the wind (direction).
I didn't so the easy ride didn't turn out to be so easy having 30km strong headwind back home 🤣.#trailrunning #running #crosstraining #streak2024 #ultrarunning

Apparently #RunMotion wants me to maintain my new high fitness level gained from last week's GR221.
After 2 rest days it is back to hard working again for the rest of the week.
But to be honest, thats how I like it 😆. -
A little insight what I can expect in the next months of my #Runmotion training program for the #arc50m.
A 4hr ride followed by a 1hr run will be interesting to do.
It reminds me of running with square legs when doing triathlon brick training 🤣

It is the #Runmotion app.
Decided to switch from Humango to Runmotion because it is created by and for (ultra) trailrunners from France.
It also supports cycling as cross-sport to build endurance which is also my cup of tea 😉.
On top of that is not expensive (~€10/month).
