RTF Exploit Installs RAT: uWarrior

An unknown Italian-origin threat actor has developed uWarrior, a Remote Access Tool delivered through weaponized RTF documents containing multiple exploits. The attack chain leverages CVE-2012-1856 with a novel ROP chain and CVE-2015-1770 to bypass ASLR protections by loading non-DYNAMICBASE compiled DLLs through OLE objects. The fully-featured RAT uses compressed, optionally encrypted TCP communications with binary message protocols for command and control. Analysis reveals the actor borrowed components from off-the-shelf tools, particularly the ctOS RAT, sharing similar configuration structures and code functions. uWarrior provides extensive capabilities including remote command execution, file manipulation, system control, software enumeration and uninstallation, and data exfiltration. The malware establishes persistence and communicates with C2 servers using AES encryption.

Привет, Хабр! (И тебе, случайный бухгалтер, который думает, что «выгрузить из банка» - это нажать одну кнопку. И тебе, 1С-разработчик, который слышит «парсинг PDF» и сразу уходит на больничный. И тебе, Python-разработчик, который уверен, что pip install magic_solution решит любую проблему.) Сегодня расскажу, как мне поставили задачу, от которой у SAP-а ушло, видимо, несколько команд и много времени, а мне дали на это… ну, скажем так, поменьше. Задача звучала элегантно, но всегда есть но, и не одно)) (Спойлер для тех, кому лень читать: я узнал, что Сбербанк формирует WORD-документы с такой XML-вложенностью, что в ней можно заблудиться, ВТБ зачем-то маскирует WORD под RTF, а файл на 10 000 платёжек из 37 мегабайт разворачивается в 1 гигабайт XML. И да, всё по итогу заработало.)

Der Almabtrieb ist erledigt, ungefähr 400 Teilnehmende waren am Start.
Die ersten 95km waren spritzig und flowig. Dann erinnerte mich mein Di2-Antrieb daran schon länger keine Steckdose gesehen zu haben und belohnte mich auch instant mit dem 12ten Gang, fixed.
Ich wollte daraufhin nicht geizig sein und beglückte den Antrieb mit etwas Eskalation. Jede Welle und jeglicher Gegenwind wurde im Stehen weggedrückt. Das sah für andere Teilnehmende bestimmt etwas martialisch aus, war aber auf den übrigen 70km effektiv :o)

Good morning, after research, collecting a PDF to a book to be published digitally works hopelessly.

So I have to bundle my.odf to #doc #docx #RTF or #formatted-EPUB files in a way that also creates a table of contents.

Is there a @libreoffice template for this?
