Because I misread the rules, I thought for the longest way that that was just what you were supposed to do . Then someone called me out on it in a #RulesLawyer moment, and I just said "that may be the case, but this is cooler and more fun, so we'll keep doing it 'wrong'." -

I was just razzed off the field at Homeschool Nerf night by the kid who showed up in a tactical vest for 'shooting at my team mates' and 'definitely being shot more than 5 times'.
Regardless of the fact that I was helping a 3yo and 5yo operate their Nerf guns.
Big Cop energy on this kid.
