¿RSS Parrot no está funcionando?
El site RSS Parrot hace cuentas en su instancia de Mastodon a partir de direcciones de sites con direcciones RSS.
Hace 2 días que no está actualizando las cuentas que armé en su site y sigo en Mastodon!
¿Alguien sabe qué pasó?

I've used https://rss-parrot.net/ with https://fetchrss.com/ in the past but I see fetchrss no-longer supports facebook in its free plan.

I expect I'm late to the party as usual and everyone else in the Fediverse knew all about this but ...
This account @birb - the RSS Parrot - you can send it a message with a link to an RSS feed (or some other things) and it will magic up a special account you can follow containing new posts from that feed.
Basically it turns RSS feeds into Fediverse accounts. Isn't that great?

@evan I mean a MediaWiki extension. Surely it doesn't belong in MediaWiki core. :)
Every Wikidata item has an Atom feed, like https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q12418&feed=atom&action=history, but I can't seem to be able to get the #RSSparrot @birb to recognise it.

After recent changes fixing it for GoToSocial it seems like @[email protected] works for at least subscribing to existing feeds from Sharkey and I'd guess Misskey forks in general as well.
It's a very useful service so glad to see it function for more platforms besides Mastodon. Worth noting I only tested subscribing to existing feeds so it is possible not everything works. #sharkey #misskey #rssparrot #rss -
