It's too early to say for sure, but our poll from yesterday asking people where they live in Europe is showing that most respondents are from the Netherlands (the poll will run until Sunday so the results may change). Since a lot of Dutch people are following us here (we didn't know!), we will recommend them to check out Quodari 🇧🇪 🇳🇱 . This is a social network created by a Belgian-Dutch startup. We tried it for nearly a month, but unfortunately we struggled with the language barrier (as we expected). This made it hard to find accounts in our language to follow and create an interesting feed. This can change over time, of course. But at least it's an alternative for Dutch and Belgian users.

We tried #Quodari for a while, but we stopped using it after almost month because we couldn't understand the language of most part of posts and we couldn't find new accounts to follow in our language. But we'll keep our account there. (https://public.quodari.com/public/profile/Le5NoaYA7E)

It doesn't seem like it's a replacement for LinkedIn. It feels more like a mix of Mastodon and Facebook, but it's also completely different. Looking at the public feed, it seems that the service is mainly used by people in the Netherlands/Belgium, so there's a language barrier for users from other countries. This isn't a problem in itself, but it will take some time to expand to other countries.

Ik probeer te de-googlen maar dat valt niet mee. Heb vandaag wat zitten uitproberen met todoist, gnome-todo, quodari. Eerlijk is eerlijk het werkt allemaal net niet zo gladjes als dat stomme google.
