@arnelson to be fair it's not required nowadays to have that much space or wait for a workstation setup.
I simply got #pinecilv2 - (usb-c solder) from @PINE64, and together with good tip like bc2 (much easier to use) and some good solder wire like #kester to assemble my first mechanical keyboard.
Soldered few #pmw3360 since then as well :)
#omnifixo makes it even easier (but not required)

My whole setup squeezed between two #corne halves:

I'm thinking of buying a Pinecil, but I'm stumped by the price discrepancy between the Pine64 global store (26 USD) and German/European resellers (around 60EUR - more than twice as much!) :neofox_confused:
Is there any reason not to order directly from pine64.com?

If I chain USB-C trigger board with 20V to step down USB-C output board, would it work?

I saw that amazing fume extractor powered by USB with an extra jacks output for solder and would love to have the ability to connect #pinecilv2 with USB cable instead.

I would like some practical ideas and tips for traveling with the Pinecilv2 soldering iron.
