A little bit of hope...the TAP file I saved from VICE xpet -model 2001 starts with the same C64-TAPE-RAW bytes.

Oy. Of the 3 possible programs offered to assist in TAP to WAV and/or vice-versa:

1) Windows only, exe file.
2) Windows only can be compiled on Linux but for Windows.
3) Requires Node.js

🤮

Was hoping for a Linux compile-able are simple script. Didn't want to fight with Windows VMs and definitely didn't want to have to install Node.

Next step: Guess I'll install Node on a Linux VM.

Now, my #MEGA65 is not only a MEGA65 and #Commodore #C65 prototype, but it also has become a #C64, as well as all #CBM / #PET models, like the #PET2001 and the other models, both normal and business types.

There are other cores too, such as a ZX Spectrum, Game Boy, Galaga, Bombjack, Ghosts'n Goblins, etc.

There also seem to be more in some form of development stage.

Morning all. Today I want to show you the beauty of old motherboards. Tidy, space to get everywhere and much easier to find errors than today.
This is a #Commodore #PET2001, its keyboard is also known as a #MickyMouse keyboard. It was standing on a high cupboard at the university for more than 30 years. After a superficial interior cleaning it started again without a problem. Quality instead of mass production.
