  1. speaking of #election signs, there is a (middle-aged, male) cyclist who seems to yell at our #VoteGreen sign every time he passes on his way into town? Can't quite make out what he's saying though. #Oxford #OX3

  2. the sunset over the dreaming spires was quite lovely today #Oxford #OX3

  3. #Oxford #OX3 #planning application - the little white house on the park end corner of Ferry Road (No. 120) to be demolished and replaced with 3 houses (4 bedrooms each). Objections until tomorrow: public.oxford.gov.uk/online-ap

  4. #Oxford #OX3 looks like #StormLilian ripped a hole in my roof - did anybody else have #stormdamage last Friday (23.8.)? On the plus side, I managed to fit the pieces together, was a nice jigsaw. Hoping it will hold until I get it repaired professionally.

  5. Driver parked his Toyota Highlander Hybrid Monstrosity outside our house, polished a few imaginary blemishes, then walked into town. Taking up 20cm more of the pavement than markings allow, making it tricky to get out our property with a bike. On the plus side, he's blocking parking spaces for two normal sized (non-SUV) cars and narrowing the road space so forcing drivers to slow. #banSUVs #BadlyParkedOxford #Oxford #OX3 #ViewsFromMyWindow

Fully flooded now - flooded to the corner and a foot deep --Katy

  12. #Oxford #OX3 #flooding Bottom end of Ferry Road is now under water. Couple of utility vehicles just came and had a look but don't think they can do much about it. Often it's sewers overflowing but this time I think it's the river #cherwell coming to visit us ...

  13. major #cycle route into #Oxford city centre from #OX3 is going to be closed for 10 weeks - no suitable alternative offered so far. I'm torn between illegally passing through uni parks and going the narrow path towards st. catz, which just doesn't have the capacity needed.
