For anyone who has no idea what I'm talking about but is interested anyway, almost 3 years ago I starting trying to design from scratch 3D printed model rockets to carry a small video camera and altitude logger while remaining as small and light a possible.
I spent quite a bit of time fiddling around in FreeCAD and OpenRocket and 3D printing prototype parts trying to come up with something that could carry the payload while being both light enough to fly well and tough enough to survive the flight.
