  2. WIP on a new enemy type you'll be able to place in your temples! 🐲⚔️

Much stronger than the other two, they'll make an ideal guard for your most important rooms 👀

  3. Gonna be honest, #Zelda #OcarinaofTime looks way better without the pre-rendered visuals. Hope the remake goes a similar route:

  4. I'm nearing the end of Majora's Mask. Got all the temples done, and all the side quests I wanted. I reflected a little on the times when I got stuck and needed to look up what to do (across both OoT and MM).

    - The first one is mechanics that are poorly tutorialized. Not knowing how to use some of the tools at your disposal means, that the solution for a puzzle is just not going to appear to you. If a certain interaction between mechanics has never been properly established before, then it does not exist in the puzzle solving process, even if it appears "logical" in hindsight. I didn't know you could set Deku Sticks on fire to light torches. The tutorial text for them highlights their use as a weapon, which to me immediately made it an irrelevant item.

    - Needing to interact with an NPC in a specific way or at a specific time to progress was probably the single most frequent instance of having to look up something for me. NPC interactions don't really follow consistent logic that you can deduce from mechanics that you learned. They are a form of "needing to read the designers mind", and without some hint, are very easy to miss.

  5. I have a $10 certificate expiring soon at Best Buy. It sure would be nice if #Nintendo would get around to announcing the release date and pre-order price for the #NintendoSwitch2 #Zelda #OcarinaOfTime remake. :linkdab:

  6. Just posted a quick video about what the age rating changes might mean for the #Zelda #OcarinaofTime remake:

  7. Seen a lot of comments about the #Zelda #OcarinaofTime remake getting an E10+ rating and how it may tone down some elements.

Yeah, that’s probably not happening. You know what else got that rating? #TearsoftheKingdom with everyone’s most horrifying Zelda mini boss…

  8. With and becoming two big heavy hitters in my gaming schedule, the pick up and okay nature of for the has been an absolute joy in between bigger sessions.

  9. I'm almost done with the game, and I only now notice that all the stairs are just a flat texture lmao. It's a pretty good one though, had me fooled good until I panned the camera a certain way.

  10. So even before I started playing I was vaguely aware that the Water Temple was kinda hated by a lot of people. I just played through it myself for the first time and ... it's my favorite dungeon in the entire game so far? Seriously this place is fucking cool. I loved scooting around with the iron boots and the hook shot and messing with the water levels. I only got stuck once, because I didn't realize part of the wall was actually a box you could push which was hiding a key I really needed (though I did figure it out eventually).

So my question is, what's with the water temple hate?

  11. Really was struggling to come up with a memorable tune for the scarecrow, that was also possible with the five notes the game gives you. But I did eventually find one that worked perfectly!

  12. Custom piano arrangement of the Hyrule Field theme from Ocarina of Time. I have been working on this for months, happy with the results! Are you excited for the upcoming remake?

  13. Oh wow, I just won the Treasure Chest Shop minigame first try, just by guessing which chest would "feel random" each time, and basically won 5 coin flips in a row. Where is this kinda luck when I'm playing TTRPGs??

  14. My adventure through keeps going!

I decided to venture to a few places.
Went up Death Mountain to meet a Great Fairy (also went back to Hyrule Castle to get that one)
Obtained the Heart Container with the Cow
Decided to do side stuff and learn Epona's song
    Headed to Zora's Domain
    Got into the 3rd dungeon!

  15. So I came across this begging child, asking for the contents of a bottle. I still had my bottle of Lon-Lon milk. It is a very useful item, but I figured why the hell not, lets be kind. Next thing I know, Link presents the bottle of milk to the child and ... proceeds to chug it himself, wiping off his mouth self satisfied. I didn't know he had this much contempt for the poor.

  16. After getting to Goron City, I was tasked with venturing into Dodongo Cavern and freeing it up for the Goron to have their rock food back...

The puzzles were pretty good. Though there is a golden skulltula I can't get to... I think I may need to return to the dungeon later to pick it up
