CW: Large Dead Moth pinned, photo
I do not know where my entomology pins are and I'm not sure if I even have long enough ones for the depth of the moth's body.
It was kind of a rush since it was still flexible and not dried yet after passing overnight.
I did swap out the red headed pin for a white headed pin after this photo, in case I can't remove it easily. #moth

Well, this isn't THE bug project I was thinking of doing, but once I started it, I was hooked. Stained glass moths, anyone?
First up is the beautiful luna moth (Actias luna)!
This is the first in a series. My plan is to make a bunch of these, highlighting different species, and combine them into a coloring book. I'll probably rework this one as landscape, as the subsequent ones I've been working on look better horizontal, and I want to stay consistent with them.
I also plan to color them myself!
Originally it was going to be all sorts of insects, but the more I dived into moths, I realized they could EASILY fill a whole coloring book by themselves, and still only barely scratch the surface of their amazing variety.
I just really love moths, y'all. 🥰🥰🥰

Has anyone used Trichogramma
Parasitic Wasps sachets with success in drawers etc. for clothes #moth ?
Looks great, I think I understand the basic #entomology and it seems great, properly utilised.
However, not sure if what I have read about accurate siting squares with the slightly random approach of popping sachets in drawers and wardrobe floors (as advised by the UK seller I'm looking at).Does anyone in fediland use them?
