Finally got around watching #MadGod. It's been on my todo as one of those must-watch #movies not cuz it's good but cuz it's different. And different, it was. It's a spectacle without plot, but a spectacle it is indeed!
I can't recommend it for normal viewing but as #horror #art, yes. I mean, I've talked about the movie all day so at least it did exactly what it set out to do. It captivated my imagination.
The macabre and grotesque aesthetics reminds me of #nekroplanet and Zdzisław Beksiński.

I would love to see it, it is apparently a stop-motion masterpiece and a completely bonkers post-apocalyptic story! Tickets are only €10, but as always, the universe throws a wrench into the gear works.

I see #LastDriveIn just did #MadGod. These days I usually watch horror in bed while dangerously high but when Mad God first dropped on Shudder I got like 10 minutes in and realized I had made a grievous error. I’ve been waiting for that thing since I first heard the rumors that Tippett was working on it but ain’t no way I can handle the hell world he created half out of my mind. I’m eager for Joe Bob and Darcy to act as a proverbial chill tent.
