Just watched Mad God, it is a visually stunning animated film, (a cross between Burton and Gilliam) that captures the state of the world we live in.

Finally got around watching #MadGod. It's been on my todo as one of those must-watch #movies not cuz it's good but cuz it's different. And different, it was. It's a spectacle without plot, but a spectacle it is indeed!
I can't recommend it for normal viewing but as #horror #art, yes. I mean, I've talked about the movie all day so at least it did exactly what it set out to do. It captivated my imagination.
The macabre and grotesque aesthetics reminds me of #nekroplanet and Zdzisław Beksiński.

In other news, they would be showing Phil Tippet's #MadGod tomorrow at #WHSUnion, a small local cinema. I would love to see it, it is apparently a stop-motion masterpiece and a completely bonkers post-apocalyptic story! Tickets are only €10, but as always, the universe throws a wrench into the gear works.
Still, I want to catch it at some point. Apparently it is on #Shudder, but of course that service is not available in #Finland. Has anyone used Shudder via #VPN here in beloved #Suomi?

It’s like Clive Barker’s Books of Blood crossed with HR Giger and Dave McKean.
