  1. "Mad God"
One of the most amazing films I've ever seen, masterfully crafted by the legendary Phil Tippett. It is grotesque, vile, beautiful, magical, and utterly fantastic. Do not look up anything about it, just watch it. I will warn you, it is not the feint of heart, but its message is powerful.

  5. Phil Tippett ("You had one job!") being interviewed about major influences, such as learning from Ray Harryhausen, that shaped his career of creating stop-motion animation for feature films:

'I took LSD when I was working on "Return of the Jedi". I could communicate with my cat, Brian, and Brian took me on a journey. I crawled into this cupboard with Brian the cat, and we went to the centre of the Earth for like three billion years. And it was just in this world of molecules and it was fine. It was like very calming. And so I decided to go back to work. And so I was at ILM, and I walked into like the the blue-screen stage and it's like this huuuuge -- everything just just super-illuminated bright blue and I was just like, "Ah, I took like way too much!"'
