  1. Enough work done for today: framagit.org/linmobapps/linmob

Wishing I were faster with this and sorry for the "monster commit" approach.

  2. Just building (github.com/ankitects/anki) from AUR on the again because of a question on Reddit. Thought this would be a quick thing, but they've reimplemented a bunch of things in .
At least I can update the Anki entry on /#LinuxPhoneApps afterwards.

  3. The fifty-sixth edition of my weekly collection of news about (@PINE64 , @purism and such), , is out!

    linmob.net/linbits-55-weekly-l

and progress further, plans for VoLTE, hits 300 apps and more!

  4. 300 apps are quite the number, but every added app also worsens the loadtime of . I hope to get a replacement in place before 350 apps are surpassed, and will post more about this in the coming days.
I'll definitely need help with some things - I hope to be able to outline this more next week.

  5. This one should have been added long ago, but ..
Seahorse (gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/seahorse) is the @gnome password and encryption key manager, which fits the screen almost perfectly in it's 40 release. Now listed on linmobapps.frama.io!

  6. Image Roll (github.com/weclaw1/image-roll) is an adaptive Rust/GTK image viewer that allows for basic image editing (e.g. rotation). You can get it on Flathub or the AUR, and it is now listed on linmobapps.frama.io!

  7. Just a small /#LinuxPhoneApps update:
(BTW: Make sure to join our Matrix group: matrix.to/#/#linuxphoneapps:ma)

  8. Pyrocast (github.com/jnetterf/pyrocast) is a WIP GTK/libhandy client written in . It's fast and has directory search. Sadly development seems to have stopped back in September, but we hope that it's not abandoned.

    Now on linmobapps.frama.io!

  9. I am really not sure whether adding freedesktop (sub-) categories to is worth it at all:

  10. Agregore Browser (github.com/AgregoreWeb/agregor) is a minimal Electron-based browser for the distributed web.

    It's now listed on linmobapps.frama.io.

  15. New blog post discussing what happened in March and April on and a glimpse at plans for its future:

    linmob.net/linmobapps-addition

  16. I was hoping to publish the progress report for March and April today, but that will happen tomorrow, just like 008.

I did add a lot of appdata.xml/metainfo.xml links though, which is vital for the future of /#LinuxPhoneApps.

Another change, that I made happen today is working appstream:// links on linmobapps.frama.io/. Now, if you tap one of these links, software like Discover or GNOME Software may pop up and allow you to install the app right away!

  17. @vandys @postmarketOS At least for many/most of the apps on Flathub that are listed on and use native frameworks, this is not true. These apps are nice little native apps, and with Flatpak the long wait for distributions to package the apps can be skipped.

  18. This morning Birdie (github.com/Dejvino/birdie) woke me up.

Check it out on its GitHub page linked above or on linmobapps.frama.io, which lists 254 more apps for
