I want to make a nice warm poncho in u don’t know what color and also a pullover in a black yarn.

I have the poncho pattern but I have to decide on yarn for both and also a pattern for the pullover.

And the problem is that there are infinite yarns and patterns and I actually don’t even know where to start.

Should i just use mal abrigo for both? How do I narrow things down??

Hello again lovely #knitters! I am wondering if there are good "general" size for #knitting needles. As a beginner (I'll be relearning the basics 😬), I'm interested mainly in #throws and maybe one baby blanket for my boss. I tried to Google but there was such a diversity of sizes and materials that I got overwhelmed. 😵‍💫 I imagine I'll be using kinda thick/chunky #yarn because it is easier, but I'm not sure tbh. Probably whatever the easiest pattern I find would be. 😅 Thank you if you have any wisdom to share~

#knitters ! I need some #knitting needle shopping help.

Must meet all the following requirements:

- Available to buy in the UK
- 7 to 10 inches length [18 -26 (ish) cm ] No Longer
- Metal or plastic. Not Wood. Not Bamboo
- Not Circular. I don't want the ends attached
- 3mm or 2mm.
( Actually want to buy both a 3mm and a 2mm pair)

I am not done with my other knitting project but I'm going on vacation and want to bring a new one for space saving reasons..I'll put the yarn I have in the first comment

I'm debating these two cardigans. The one in green is more difficult to make with the cables and buttons and is more fitted/tailored so will be fiddly and I may have to restart a few times but I like it. The other one is easier but also more shapeless (although I suppose I don't have to make it as baggy).

#Knitters, a little unsolicited advice: if you find your cast-on row is a little too tight, there are a few things you can do to loosen it. You can try using a different cast-on method that's a little more elastic. You can try casting on loosely, although it is difficult to keep uniform tension this way. You can also try casting on with a needle that's one size bigger than the one you use for the rest of your project. This is especially helpful for those who tend to knit tightly. Finally, you can DEMAND THE RELEASE OF THE UNREDACTED #EPSTEINFILES
