getting ready to start #knitting a new pair of #socks, & scrolling through #ravelry trying to pick a pattern.

when I first started knitting finding good patterns from books & on the web w/o ravelry was so hit or miss, now there are so many great designers out there all collected and collated on rav & it's just an overwhelming sea of possibilities!

I have about 500 (only slightly hyperbolic) tabs open with great patterns & i'm feeling some major optional paralysis. 😅

UPDATE to the UPDATE: I'm going to rip back to the color work and #steek these mofo's and turn then into #fingerlessmitts. I made a pair last year and wore them every day of winter. #knitting #knitsky #ravelry #showmeyourknits #LSG #Latvian #socks

A few years ago I bookmarked this #Ravelry bundle.

As a male knitter it was annoying me that the tags on Ravelry were being abused. (Don't even get me started on the #gloves tag.)

Search by gender is a not funny joke on Rav. So... I asked on Reddit for people's fave men's patterns.

Rules are, must be availabe, Must have a man wearing it in the photo's, must be a cardi, jumper, vest, jacket.

Another sneak peak at the app. You get the full view of your ravelry stash (or local if not connected) and you can also add to it from the app. When adding via a photo the app tries to get the name of the yarn from the photo to initiate a ravelry search for it directly to make it easier to add.

Is it a me problem or have others the same one?

I can't access #Ravelry, I get a timeout. Everything else seems to work just fine. When I check with some websites about the down status I get the message that everything is alright. But it isn't and hasn't been for the last 2 or 3 hours.

I don't want to restart my smartphone right now, but I have the same problem in at least 2 different browsers.

@transitionalaspect We are in close sync! I finished Crescent #5 and have woven in half the ends, the rest tomorrow am. I think I'll be able to dip my toe into clue #2 by Monday, gotta write some stuff tomorrow. Here's a shot of mine minus the last welt. Amazing how much better it looks with the ends sewn in.
