More speakers in the office.🔊 After 2 years of rocking my 2.1 setup of Klipsch RP-500M + 12" subwoofer R-121SW, I decided to go 4.1 and grab a pair of R-51M's from an outlet.
This €1k set of #Klipsch audio gear packs a mean punch. I plugged it to my Onkyo amp from 15y back and it's a nice audio upgrade for the Niiranen Advisory Oy office space.👌 I ditched my small Presonus monitors used for Teams calls and just surrounded myself with proper sound all around.
Because music matters.

Heute kamen endlich meine Ohrpolster für meine #Klipsch Studiokopfhörer. Nach etwas Fummelei hab ich dann die Kunststoffhalterung von den alten Polstern gelöst und in die neuen Polster integriert. Hier und da noch ein wenig Feinarbeit mit der Scheere am Leder und keine 30 Minuten später waren die dann auch dran. War auch nur einmal kurz davor einen Wutanfall zu bekommen 😉

@viennawriter Ich habs dann tatsächlich über irgendnen forum gefunden. Was mich ärgert ist das #Klipsch selbst keine Originalteile anbietet. Das erwarte ich aber einfach von einer Premium Marke

Für jeden Scheiss gibt es Zubehör und Ersatz selbst für die Kack JBL Kopfhörer die sie einem in jedem Tedi oder Action hinterherwerfen. Aber für meine #Klipsch Over Ear Kopfhörer muss ich Tagelang in den verwinkelten Ecken des Internets nach Ersatz- Ohrpolster suchen.

Biggest plus is NOT having all those feature crap built into the device. The way manufacturers architect those solutions is all crap #cloudThat way I can hook up a #diy #music device. A#raspberrypi ofc
That very device I can integrate into my full network client lifecycle with #Ansible #Prometheus #Backup etc.
It's just pure #Debian which is currently the most popular #server #Linux OS there is anyway.THIS is #sovereignity

The #Klipsch KG4s ended up coming home with me. They may be a tad big for my space, but I'm OK with it. Still trying to find the best position and amount of toe-in. Then I need to work on symmetry. It was good with the KG2s on stands.

It sounds a bit shrill to me especially with classic Jazz albums like Sketches in Spain. It’s still has that upper air bite that class D amps have. It’s not perfect but its really quite good. I’d love to hear it fed from a good active tube preamp like the schiit saga. That would give me the sound I like and it pairs better with my vintage #Klipsch. Most of my criticism of the way this sounds has to do with how #KlipschHeritage sounds with solid state gear and not any fault of the amp.
