September 24 is National Punctuation Day and we're excited (!) to say, without question (?) that our favorite is the unusual, uncommon, and unconventional interrobang (‽). Period. (Maybe this should be in our logo?)

Today is National Punctuation Day! So let’s talk about the interrobang. “What the heck is that‽” you ask/exclaim?
In 1962, advertising agency director Martin K. Speckter had seen one too many sentences ending with ?!. So he suggested that we generate a new punctuation character called “interrobang.” He wrote up his recommendation for the publication TYPEtalks.

Does anyone happen to know if there's an archive of TYPEtalks magazine from the 1960s?
I'm looking for an issue from 1962 (not the only interrobang *and* Wikipedia fan on the chase, I'm sure; would be interested in finding literally any issue at all though, tbh) and coming up with next to nothing.

I think the interrobang should be normalized.
Because a question spoken in great surprise is actual a common manner of speaking, happens in dialog all of the time.
The exclamation mark has taken precedence as simpler and more elegant. But I think it could still affect line readings.
Normalize the interrobang.

INTERROBANG - ORIGIN
The interrobang was conceptualized by an advertising exec, Martin Spektor, in 1962. He disliked the growing trend of combining exclamation marks and question marks for emphasis in advertising. He came up with idea of combining the two marks to create the new glyph, “‽”, to improve the visual appeal of ad copy.
