Minimum wage increase by €1.40 per hour to €12.70 per hour - "still a long way to go to real living wage" says #ICTU.
USC rate reduced from 4.5% to 4%
In the middle of the hottest October ever (?), fuel excise increases are deferred to April (petrol) and August (diesel)
Also an easing of something to the insurance industry
9% VAT rate gas & electricity remains as-is
