Töissä tänään tapahtunutta, yksi siivouskomero on haissut rehellisesti sanottuna paskalle ja nyt huolto oli sit tehnyt jotain asialle.
Huoltomies oli lakonisesti kirjoittanut, lattiakaivo putsattu ulosteesta.
Nyt sitten mietityttää, että kuka on siihen lattiakaivoon sontinut kun ainoastaan hotellin henkilökunnalla on pääsy siivouskomeroihin.
Viime kesänä joku asiakas oli kussut yöllä liinavaatevarastoon kun sen ovi oli jäänyt vahingossa auki.

Working and staying away from home gives me the chance to read more books and try TV shows that might otherwise pass me by.
I know very little about the First Nation peoples of the North American continent. Much of what I do know is thanks to the post-apocalyptic novels of Waubgeshig Rice from the Wasauksing First Nation (https://waub.ca/). These offer an Indigenous perspective of a community’s survival through a return to old ways following a Great Collapse.
Having finished reading one of these just last week, I was intrigued to see a new (in NZ) TV show appear on Netflix called Dark Winds. A mix of police procedural and psychological thriller, it is set in the 1970s amidst the reservation lives and spiritual practices of Navajo communities in the Four Corners area of the American Southwest. It is based on the ‘Leaphorn & Chee’ novel series by Tony Hillerman.
With a promising first episode and solid reviews, I’m looking forward to seeing what unfolds.

Vacations are Weird
You know what? Being on vacation is just weird.
Example?
I just slept until 8:00am. WhatWhatWhat???
I did not set my alarm for 5:00am, or 5:30am, or even a super late 6:00am. No, I set it for 8:00am! After that, amazingly, I didn’t still wake up at 5:00! Well, I did, but then I just rolled over and went back to sleep.
Like I said, being on vacation is just weird. Weird, I tells ya!
