I am installing Pangolin as replacement to Cloudflare tunnels. I'm having some trouble configuring Traefik middlewares, and decided to ask advise from new Qwen3.8. It answered pretty quickly, did some net searches, and gave helpful answer. What's amazing is that it runs locally in an AMD Strix Halo mini-pc. I don't need any AI sub because the Ai is just another service in a mini-pc I am using anyway.

I got forward with Pangolin, and gave now e.g. Crowdsec completely integrated via Traefik plugin.

Now I'm stuck with Traefik Middleware Manager. It should allow me to pick a service (a web server) and hook in required Middleware. But it has hardly any documentation. I have installed a set of plugins, but I'm puzzled how to add and configure them into middlewares for a service. I guess I need to read the truth from sources😅.

because i got the google Routes API setup with my motley crew of agents, and have monitoring for my commute times to tell me if i should bounce early or wait half an hour for things to clear up.

my office is 21mi from the house, but a 40-100min drive depending on an array of variables like closures, accidents, detours, and just having too many cars on the road.

This is happening….

I'm recovering the original Amiga 68000 source code and project assets of a little game I wrote for Capstone in 1989 called "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure."

The end goal is a complete era-accurate Amiga software project for DevPac alongside a modern workflow with VASM. Then I'll be fixing up and remastering this game.

It's been an intensive 40 hours working with Hermes and Ghidra to get most of the way there!

I've tinkered with local AI coding setup. I need to treat it as a thief and crook. I configured few MCP servers, one being Kagi search. I hoped this, with proper api key, would reduce bot blocks. It's understandable sites blocking all these agents.

- Hermes Studio failed to connect to Kagi saying "token looks like abbreviated in config". Solution: added instruction not to abbreviate token. 😂

- After any failure with Kagi the agent switches to duckduckgo (and continues failing there) . Instructed to use only Kagi MCP. Agent start calling curl duckduck... Instructed not to use terminal and curl for searches. Agent starts calling powershell curl duckduck. 😔

No wonder that these agents escape their sandboxes. They are made to permutate commands until they get a step further. Relentlessly.

a week ago i launched compute at digitalOcean to test #hermesAgent and see how #lifeOS 7's deployment as a Skill could work on a different harness. hermes is extremely capable and operating it is comfortable.

hermes doesn't have #claudeCode's Hooks, and PAI/LifeOS benefits a lot from them. i still want to actually try it but the lack of a hooks facility caused me to pause, and install claude-code and install lifeOS 7 there, which Hermes Agent follows.

code ops get routed there by default, too
