Thinking about my personal #goty2022 and gee, there have once again been so many good ones, despite having had relatively little time to play.
Seriously, if you think #videogames are getting worse, you're just wrong. The industry is probably getting worse atm, yeah, but the games themselves are fine. Better than ever. And if you disagree, you should play different things. And it's never been easier to check out so many different titles big and small.

Bon allez, zou, mon petit bilan jv de 2022.
Encore une très grosse année, avec beaucoup de propositions très variées : j'ai joué à 96 jeux et j'en ai terminé 59.
Je déteste faire des tops, alors je vais juste balancer tous mes #GOTY2022 dans l'ordre chronologique, je les aime pas tous avec la même intensité, mais globalement tout ce qui suit c'est de la bonne, voire très bonne came.

Return Of The Obra Dinn is the best video game released in 2018 and for my money, it's not even close.

The 'Game I Wanted to Play, But Didn't....' Award - #HorizonForbidenWest
I absolutely adored 20XX's (what even is time?) #HorizonZeroDawn, and whilst reviews for the sequel seem to top out at 'it's pretty good' I'm still looking forward to eventually getting to try my hand at shooting dead robot dinosaurs when the game eventually comes to #Steam in a year or two.

The 'Never Gonna Give You Up' Award - #RocketLeague
I've been playing Rocket League pretty consistently since it's day 1 release back in (what feels like) 1994. Thousands of hours of actual game-time later and it's still bringing me back in.
I play less since the birth of kid#2, but there's rarely a week goes by where I don't find 2-3 hours to play some Rocket League. What a game.

Most games demand your full and undivided attention. They want you to memorize button combinations and timing windows. Vampire Survivors though, asks none of that. It's a game that's playable using just one input; the left analogue stick.
You move. And then you upgrade. You move. You upgrade. That's the game. It's addictive in the best sort of way, and not a micro-transaction in sight.

The 'Game That Opened Up A New Genre To Me' Award - Elden Ring
I'd never played a #SoulsBorne game before #EldenRing. It was a genre I thought myself too lacking in time to play; too easily put off by repeated failure to fully enjoy. I was wrong.
From the moment I opened the doors to Limgrave I knew I was hooked. 120 hrs later, and with the game beaten, I found myself asking where I was going to get my next fix of ultra-hard-but-incredibly-fair combat mastery.

C'est l'heure des comptes, il paraît. J'ai joué à 16 titres sortis (ou pré-sortis, ou post-sortis) en 2022, alors vous savez quoi, on va tenter ça en 4 panneaux.
Une sélection très puzzlesque, aussi parce que ce sont les rares que j'achète jour un. Et surtout une très bonne année. Les 8 premiers sont vraiment des perles, même si peut-être pas à recommander à tout le monde.

The Game That Makes Me Wish I Could Play It Again For The First Time Award - #Tunic
It's hard to talk about this game without giving up the one thing that it does so well. It's a cop-out I know, but the game is best experienced totally blind.
Speaking from my own experience, I'll say this. Tunic, like Fez, Braid and Outer Wilds before it, is absolutely essential playing for anyone who considers themselves a Video Game Fan.
