The final boss on Tunic is utterly destroying me. I thought I finally defeated them only for them to reveal a whole second stage. I've been stuck on this boss for a couple weeks and I'm starting to think I don't have the skill to ever beat them.

Tunic is an amazing game.
I started playing it over the weekend and it's one of the best games I've played. The combat is engaging and the art/music is great. I love the design decision to include the instruction manual pages as items to find in the game, complete with little pencil marks on some of the pages making it look like someone's personal notes. It really hits the nostalgia of when games came with physical books.

Just finished #Tunic today and I'm really torn about it. There's a lot to love here and some genuinely incredible puzzle design. As soon as I saw the first page of the instruction booklet, I could see there was something special here and it definitely delivered on that premise.
Minimizing spoilers as much as I can, the door to the mountains puzzle is actually genius and something that's easy to miss but quite obvious in retrospect, like all good puzzles are.

I've been playing #Tunic and really enjoying it overall, but in the late game, these Holy Cross puzzles are really getting on my nerves.
I'm like 5 puzzles in a row now where I solved it conceptually but just didn't read the path the same way the game intended and end up looking up each one.

TIL that Tunic, one of the more recent games that I enjoyed, is just 1.3 GB on Steam. It’s amazing to have an enjoyable game that doesn’t eat up too much storage.

Last night my wife was trying out Tunic on Switch 2, which unfortunately has untranslsted game menus, dialog boxes and such. Luckily, there's a fully translated version of the manual online. But before we looked that up, she tried translating some via her phone, and the results were hilarious. I was LOSING IT about this last night. 😂🤣😂
(And now I'm finding out that the manual and dialog boxes are PURPOSEFULLY a made up language that translates as you play. But, like.. any kind of vague hint about this from the devs would've been nice, though..)

J'ai commencé à décoder l'alphabet. Ce coup-ci on va vraiment avancer.Diffusion en direct sur Tunic 🦊 Session 13 (je crois ?).
Où l'on va faire du décodage, de la traduction et résoudre des énigmes. -
J'ai enfin commencé à traduire l'alphabet dans Tunic.
Comme toutes les énigmes de ce jeu, je m'étais dis que je ne le ferai pas et en fait si.
C'est vraiment fort de sa part. -
