No one seems to talk about the texture of dragon scales enough. It must be one of the most pleasant textures out there, with the smoothness of the scales and the slight bumpiness of them overlapping each other, plus the warmth of the dragon on top of that. I just need a large feral dragon to give me a biiiiiig hug and wrap me up in its scales.

There of course are campgrounds for dragon riders, but you won't see many tents there. Instead a dragon is the best tent ever. Insanely warm and with broad, thick wings that act both as a blanket and as blackout curtains. Even in the arctic conditions dragon riders would often stick one leg out from under the wingies
