@bkuhn It's why I prefer the Fediverse. You have to work at it rather than being guided to like-minded people.

I think the Fediverse (Read: Mastodon) is more honest than any other social media platform when it comes to interactions, because some folk may disagree, but that doesn't give them the right to be vindictive.

This is why hordes left Twitter/X: they didn't want to see content they disagreed with or lose control af the narrative.

Who wants to be surrounded by nodding donkeys?

Do you have someone in your #life that: when you see them, you just want to go in the #opposite #direction. For me, it's my mother. My #dad was the one #giving my #siblings and I #hugs instead of her. You can't #stand to be around them.
