WOW, I learned so much this week about mmy #demisexuality. For those who don't know that that is, a demisexual person needs an emotional connection in order to start the attraction process. I met someone through a dating app, and we finally met this week. During the first date, I got really emotionally connected to him, and now I understand what that's supposed to feel like, and there are no words that I know of to describe how I'm feeling right now. #Dating

Certain social encounters always knock me askew to some degree, a long-standing issue. It's not so much what-might-have-been, but what's always been precluded for me, sex drive notwithstanding. To be clear I'm wearing my new black beveled tungsten ring on my left ring finger. If anyone inquires about the symbolism I'll refer to my being autistic (my sexuality would be TMI –not to say somewhat irrelevant).

Hi everyone, today I'd like to announce a new community I'm hoping to get off the ground!
For some time now, I've struggled with relating to people regarding my sexuality. Being heteroromantic demisexual, I've felt that I don't quite fit in fully with others when it comes to discussions of sexuality. At times it feels like I'm "too straight" to relate with other friends in the LGBTQ sphere, "too queer" to relate with straight friends, and "too sexual" to relate with other friends who fall into the asexual spectrum.
That's why today I created Demi Discourse, a new Matrix Space that I hope can serve as a hub for demisexual folk to hang out, chat, have fun, and have a space in which they can relate with others. It's still really barebones, but I'm hoping that with a new members, it can grow into a community that everyone enjoys.
