#gardening report: Lunch in the garden is so peaceful and relaxing. However, #cycling here was an exercise in very high revs as I rode only in one gear. First to the bike shop to get derailleur adjusted, or new chain, or whatever needs to be done so the bike stops throwing the chain. At the bike shop, there's a handmade sign: Closed Tues, Sept 30....now I remember from two years ago that the last day of Sept is inventory day. OK, so high revs to the garden, water, eat, harvest, continue cleanup, eat, then hi revs home. #gyo #GrowFoodFromSeed #CycleEverywhere #BeautifulDay

#gardening report: Cycled to the allotment, weeded, and put down straw between the rows. Used to use salt marsh hay, but stayed local for this purchase. Back home, rolled canna lilies out of their winter spots in the garage, freshened them up, put out front, and added verbena, petunias, and pansies as fillers. Brought small plants back inside just as storm hit. Oh, and swapped out the snow blower for the mower. #gyo #GrowFoodFromSeed #CycleEverywhere

Today's garden harvest just about hit the limit to what I'm comfortable carrying in the bike panniers: 27lbs (12.2k) of multiple types of tomatoes, including 2 Black Krim heirlooms. #gardening report: cycled over and back. The garden held it's own while I was away 8 days. Very little weeding to do. Hilled the potatoes for the last time. Took out the we last of the Nov arugula, and mostly the remainder of the spinach. Came home with 4lbs of green leafy in pannier. #gyo #GrowFoodFromSeeds #CycleEverywhere

Cycled again today. After yesterday's windy ride, I decided to take an extra top layer, long pants, ear cover.....got 1 mile from home, which is down in the valley and was sunny and warm, and that wind banged into me again. Had wardrobe adjustment on the side of the road, and that let me put the bicycle smile back on as I rode off into the wind. #cycling #CycleEverywhere #WindChill

Einfach nur GPS-Tracks meiner Radfahrten der letzten drei Jahre (oder so). Häufig gefahrene Strecken sind einfach nur deshalb im Breitstrich, weil GPS so ungenau ist und gleiche Wege nebeneinander statt aufeinander abgebildet werden.
