I'm revisiting Mass Effect I (Legendary edition) even though I completed the game many times on my old Xbox, mostly because I wanted to see the remastering and creating a save game for the following episodes, which I never played.
Aside from ME I'm playing Mad Max, a great open world game which definitely screams the same vibes I loved in the movies series.

I'm re-watching Black Sails, because I needed more pirates in my life. I'm also watching the last season from You with my wife, but I'm not going to spoiler anything!

I'm reading Caliban's War from James S.A. Corey from The Expanse universe, in Italian this time around. I think I'll embark in a huge journey in the near future and start reading the entire Dragonlance saga too from Weis and Hickman

Ended the weekend at HR 99 in Monster Hunter Wilds. The game is very very good but the performance is terrible, I’ve basically been playing with PS4 era console graphics to avoid crashes and I absolutely shouldn’t be. I just want to take great-looking screenshots! #currentlyplaying

IMO it says a lot about the pacing of Pokémon TCG Pocket that every deck feels compelled to run 2x Poké Ball and 2x Professor’s Research #currentlyplaying

#CurrentlyPlaying Alan Wake 2. Knocked a chair in front of a doorway and I couldn't get through. Alan just runs into it over and over again. Shot the chair with a shotgun, got through.

Video games where there's no jump kind of remind me of DOGE. You keep trying to get them to see that all they have to do is just... move the chair, and then they can get through the door.

But instead, they just run into it over and over again until they shoot it with a shotgun.

A moment after this, the captain tells his crew to throw the player's characters (Robin & Mina) back overboard.
The dialogue is sometimes odd, a non-gentle introduction to a world that leaves me asking lots of questions. Perhaps this effect is heightened by translation, or perhaps it's 100% intentional.

I do have lots of trouble with hand coordination to achieve things in this game. I've got marginally better since getting stuck the first time, but we'll soon see whether I've got better enough ... I'm stuck around the same spot I gave up last time

P.S. Forgive me friends, I am flailing about trying to see how I want to Mastodon. It's one of the few acceptable services left, but I've never decided quite what to do with it not how to present myself

Now I'm playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on 3DS. It's one of the games I can play with the 3d slider cracked up to the maximum. There's only a handful games that I could play like this without needing to dial back to he 3d effect because it starred to hurt my eyes 👁️, there's Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D land.

Started playing Palworld last night, seems like it's gonna be quite a big game!

It's like Pokemon meets Zelda meets Eco, lots of cute 'pals' to run around with and they even help with tasks (emitting lots of adorable noises of pride when they finish!)

Obviously had to call the little fire fox 'Mozilla' 🦊💕

A quick, tight, and fun roguelike turn-based strategy RPG (Is it an RPG? Yeah, by some definitions I spose) based (loosely, but not as loosely as you might expect) on #chess.
Accessible for anyone with the absolute basics of chess, Hopefully not too offensive for the chess-obsessed.

There's a solid demo for it too.

@danielholt I've mainly been replaying #Cuphead. Original I just wanted to see how it looked on my Steamdeck, but now I'm 15 hours deep and quickly approaching the end game. One of my favourite games of all time, without a doubt.

I've also spent a bit of time with #ChantsOfSenaar. A game that whilst I think offers some really great ideas, doesn't pull them together as well as something like #ReturnOfTheObraDinn
