Der Görli bleibt auf!

Am 24. Februar demonstrierten rund 1000 Menschen bunt und lautstark im Görlitzer Park und drum herum gegen die geplante Umzäunung und nächtliche Schließung des Parks.

Den Umzug hat das Bündnis „Görli Zaunfrei“ organisiert, Initiativen, Nachbar*innen und soziale Einrichtungen aus dem Kiez, die soziale Lösungen fordern statt einer Law and order Politik des #Berliner Senats. Unter dem Deckmäntelchen der Sicherheit für Frauen und Anwohner*innen im #GörlitzerPark hat der #CDU / #SPD #Senat einen #Maßnahmenkatalog beschlossen, der vorsieht einen Zaun um den #Görli zu bauen, ihn nachts abzuschließen und #Videokameras zu installieren.

Ja, es gibt #Drogenhandel, #Drogenkonsum und #Verelendung im #Kiez. Aber es geht dem Senat nicht um die Sicherheit von #Frauen, der Menschen im Park oder Maßnahmen gegen patriarchale #Gewalt. Es geht auch nicht um Lösungen für soziale Konflilte, sondern um rassistische Verdrängung und repressive #Migrationspolitik und #gentrifizierung

Während #Wegner behauptet, sich um die Sicherheit von Frauen und Anwohner*innen zu sorgen, sind zeitgleiche zahlreiche Projekte unterfinanziert und von der Schließung bedroht. Das ist purer Populismus. Die 3,9 Millionen Euro, die gegen den Willen der Anwohner*innen und des Bezirks für den Bau und Unterhalt des Zauns veranschlagt werden sollten besser in soziale Maßnahmen investiert werden!
