Gov Hochul has called NY a "global leader in the fight against climate change."
The Governor can show the world NY is leading by implementing #CongestionPricingNow which would have removed an estimated 5 million cars from the zone if it hadn't been "indefinitely paused."

The New York City Department of Environmental Protection has finally released recent #wastewater #COVID results to the State monitoring page (but not yet to the City Open Data portal).
The #COVID19 concentrations vary, but are trending higher, consistent with case, hospitalization and death rates.
To reduce summer waves we need to reduce #ClimateChange that drives people indoors.

I spoke briefly at the #CongestionPricingNow
rally in Sunnyside today. Crossing just half of Queens Boulevard to get to the rally, I had to wait a full 60 seconds for a pedestrian crossing signal.Without #CongestionPricing we have too many cars driving through Sunnyside. The lights are timed to give those cars priority so they don't back up. With congestion pricing we could transform Queens Boulevard from a barrier into a real public space!

ETA was blindsided by Gov Hochul’s senseless decision to indefinitely delay congestion pricing. Should it stand it will be a catastrophe for NY.
