I think the #LIRR strike was basically like undoing #CongestionPricing. My kids' bus has returned to taking 1.5 hours each way rather than 45-60mins.
Now that the strike is over, let's hope traffic returns to normal. It would be a great time to raise the congestion pricing toll to its originally planned level, though. #NYC #MTA #NYS

I spoke briefly at the #CongestionPricingNow
rally in Sunnyside today. Crossing just half of Queens Boulevard to get to the rally, I had to wait a full 60 seconds for a pedestrian crossing signal.Without #CongestionPricing we have too many cars driving through Sunnyside. The lights are timed to give those cars priority so they don't back up. With congestion pricing we could transform Queens Boulevard from a barrier into a real public space!

"Was on the Palisades Parkway tonight. A freaking weekday evening and it was totally congested. Seems like you need to have fewer cars in NJ. Maybe you need some congestion pricing for that road so only people who really need to be on it are on it." -
