Big #CloneHero update dropped yesterday. It brings with it some nice UI updates and expanded controller support. The main new addition however are public leaderboards and a new feature that'll make playing at lower frame rates feel even better.
Can't wait to give it a look in a few hours.

It's almost done!!
The battery on my dremel-like tool died so I can't finish smoothing out the edges, but I did a test fit on the broken controller I bought to use for parts and I love it! It's such a small thing, but when I put this on my main controller and replace the neck, the main controller is going to look like a plastic replica of my main guitar. Even seeing this parts-controller has me grinning ear to ear!#DIY #GuitarHero #RockBand #YARG #CloneHero #RhythmGames #RhythmGaming

Life took some turns so progress has been slow while life events took priority, but I'm finally back at this project! So far I've verified my dremel-like tool can cut through the pickguard material, but it's kind of slow. To make things easier on myself, I got out my cordless drill and used its largest bit to drill a bunch of holes along the pickguard's outline. This is going to be so cool when it's done!

Well, I've been humbled boys and girls.
My partner, who grew up playing #RockBand and #GuitarHero just loaded up #CloneHero for the first time and absolutely knocked it out of the park.
I've been playing this game for a few hours every week and she's just rubbished me in a matter of seconds.

I've been really struggling to get into any new games the last month or so. #CloneHero and #RocketLeague aside, the only thing grabbing me is the wonderful #Sektori.
I've now put almost ten hours into this game. And I'm *finally* starting to get a feel for what the games wants. It's hard as nails but I can see that first 'clear' on the horizon.
I should note, I'm not really a schmup sort of game, but this thing..this thing is something else entirely.

#CloneHero has become my ultimate chill-out game. When times get tough, I dig out the guitar.

I can't get into *anything* at the moment. My PS5 and Series X have been sat dormant for months and my Steamdeck has turned into a #CloneHero machine.
I am spending a fair bit more time playing on the Anbernic though. I finished #SuperMarioLand2 the other day, and had a blast whilst doing so.
I'm wondering if maybe I should just accept that nothing is going to take right now and move my attention onto my big #LordOfTheRings re-read that I've got planned for next year?
That or....maybe it's time to finally jump back in with another #Soulslike. Looking at you #LordsOfTheFallen.

Ich hab eben neben #YARG auch mal #CloneHero ausprobiert.
Mit "Crumbling Castle" von King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard anzufangen war eine ....Entscheidung.
Das war so viel schneller als die einfachen Songs in YARG, aber hat mich auch richtig gut fühlen lassen.

So I've been playing Rock Band and Clone Hero a lot recently and it's been tricky to get back into. I was never any good at it and Medium difficulty has always been my peak.
After lots and lots of attempts, I finally managed to get 100% on American Idiot! I actually did it twice, but the first time round it was recorded with a black screen, so I thought I'd add the video in the background and try to do it again to make it more interesting to watch!
Now I need to do it on Hard difficulty. I had better get practicing! 🤘🎸

Der Gitarren-Controller war eine sehr gute Idee. Gestern im Stream ausprobiert und mein Kopf ist noch vollkommen überfordert von der Anordnung der Knöpfe, da ich das auf dem Bildschirm nicht direkt auf das Gefühl meiner Hände übertragen kann.
Aber ich hab echt massiv spaß daran. Durch #YARG und #CloneHero steige ich endlich mal in diese Art Rhythm-Game ein und bin echt froh, dass die einfachen Schwierigkeitsgrade auch wirklich Einsteigerfreundlich sind.

I got my Rock Band 4 kit down from the loft recently and I’ve been playing it again over the past few days, inspired by thinking of what myself and a couple of friends could play when getting together yesterday. It was great fun but it can get expensive quite quickly when downloading new songs!
Tonight I decided to give Clone Hero a go after seeing it mentioned on Mastodon. Omg, it’s brilliant! I can basically download whatever song I want for nada! Even the ones originally made by Harmonix and Neversoft.
Main issue now is, I can only play Clone Hero on my PC. It’s like I need a PC for my living room. Something like a Steam Machine. 🤔

I've finally sorted out #CloneHero on the Steamdeck and it's glorious. Now to add all the songs. And by songs I mean music that's exclusively from the band Oasis.

I've got another #GuitarHero guitar on the way. This one is definitely the 360 model.
Ideally it'll run through my Deck/Dock into the TV. According to the #CloneHero wiki that should work.
If not, I'll accept defeat and play CH on my laptop. It's not very powerful....but I imagine it can handle a game like Clone Hero....
