@doityourweb in questo momento #NewPipe non funziona proprio quindi sicuramente sono meglio #LibreTube e #Clipious - solo non riesco a disporre dei file che scaricano. Mi serve una qualche app in grado di vedere tutti i file. Servirà avere la root ?

Chez vous aussi #NewPipe ne veut plus lire les vidéos #YouTube depuis quelques jours ? Une nouvelle mesure de censure centralisatrice de la part de Google ? Un patch à attendre ?
Ça a l'air de fonctionner avec #Invidious mais #Clipious est quand même vachement moins sympa à utiliser que NewPipe... #FOSS

Mit einem addon wie #redirector für Firefox kann man yt links automatisch auf seine bevorzugte invidious Instanz umleiten. Auch kann man in Android einstellen, dass yt links in #newpipe oder #clipious geöffnet werden.

I’m not de-googling myself so far, but for YouTube I’ve been enjoying Invidious a lot for a few months now. Just make sure to keep it up to date!
There’s also open source Android & iOS apps that are good for it (#clipious & #Yattee are my preference)

@aproposnix @tilvids Invidious has Clipious that works in Android TV (side-loaded) and then you can watch videos without ads (including skipping promos inside the video)

For a very long time I was a proponent of #NewPipe, since I got a brief taste of it on my old phone. Though now on my new phone, I am not satisfied with my experience. For the couple of links that were shared into the app, they stopped playing quickly.
Luckily while exploring the new section on #FDroid, #Clipious (https://github.com/lamarios/clipious) caught my eye. Clipious is an Android client application for #invidious. This is a perfect fit with my daily desktop use using #PrivacyRedirect to do the same.

Finally found an Invidious client on F-Droid that supports logging in with your user account. It’s called “Clipious”, it seems to be in active development and the source is available on their GitHub, pretty cool! I don’t have to use the web interface anymore!
Still kinda jealous of Yattee on iOS though 😅
