Given my druthers, I'd enact #Sortition to choose odd numbered #CitizenAssemblies guided by experts in whatever field is relevant to whatever needs to be sorted.

Need to figure out health care? Draw 11 names out of a hat, provide them with expert advice from qualified, accredited, medical health professionals and give them a ticking clock to sort it or they get dismissed sans pay.

Somewhat sceptical of this. Some proposals for citizen assemblies in the past have been atrocious, sidestepping or limiting our democracy to the say of a hundred random people.

...but I'm open to them as a model for consensus building and providing advice to MPs, who face a torrent of shitty views from lobbying and pressure groups, silly small issue-focused charities, and other weird orgs.
