Ok, there's a lot of talent in one place here. I had forgotten this one from my youth. It's quite alive, today.
I always admired the Chieftains for being able to engage musically. This is engagement. And Gary Moore, obviously, carries the whole thing effortlessly albeit he looks a bit like he is lifting an elephant.
The audience clapping with polite satisfaction is a thing in itself.

Sad to hear of the passing of Seán Keane of The #Chieftains Have magical memory of listening to him at informal session in 11th St. Bar in NYC on 18th March 2012. Previous night Chieftains had played their 50th Anniversary Concert in Carnegie Hall #RIP

One of my favourites this time of year is from an album by The #Chieftains called Bells of Dublin. This was sung at a #Christmas show I was at last night & this verse hit me afresh:
