Musical Interlude: The Tres Chicas were an alt-country group of Caitlin Carey, Tonya Lamm, and the late Lynn Blakey. They recorded a pair of albums in the early 2000s that had a unique charm. I always liked alt-country; even my rather traditionalist father liked what he heard, and he thought country music had sold its soul to the devil when they allowed drums on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry....
