Dopo un po’ di giorni che ho provato la #app di Pokémon #TCGP… beh dai, giusto fare qualche pensierino generale tipo sul mood e sul #vibe, che stranamente non è banalissimo. Strambo come questo giochino apparentemente così piccino abbia leggermente intrappolato la mia anima, ma tant’è. 😐

Dunque, in realtà, lo sfizio di scrivere così mi viene perché ho visto un video dove viene spiegato come mai la #UX della app fa schifo, e come potrebbe essere migliorata. E… questo in realtà è verissimo. 🥲

Pur non avendo la teoria dell’UI #design, un occhio per queste cose personalmente lo ho, e infatti è stato dal primo momento che ho notato questi dettagli orribili… in breve: #schermate e bottoni duplicati, navigazione bizantina, e gerarchie spaccate. 🤢

Purtroppo ho come il presentimento che i suggerimenti non verranno accolti… ed è un peccato, perché per il resto la #UI della app, dal lato puramente artistico tralasciando per un attimo l’usabilità, spacca in modo potente!!! Quindi mi dispiace sia portata in basso dalla scarsa UX. 😵

Cioè, troppo belli i design minimali ma articolati dei bottoni, i gradienti che ci sono a certe parti, le icone e le grafiche di oggetti e cosine che hanno luccichii e profondità, gli sfondi di certe schermate e le sfocature di altre, nonché le animazioni interattive ben fatte per i vari momenti clou… 🤤

C’è da ribadire quanto è figo quello che l’altra volta ho mostrato ma non descritto, cioè che l’apertura delle carte è veramente resa molto tangibile… acciderbolina, quel carosello di bustine che si possono anche girare e si aprono con una sciabolata, e poi quando escono le carte luminescenti che sono tutte fighe…… FA SALIRE IL GAMBLING. 🎰🃏🎰🎴

Che più… essendo un #gioco, è tutto molto colorato, però ci sono schermate in particolare che mi piacciono per questo per via di criteri a me ignoti. Ad esempio, la grafichina della schermata delle missioni giornaliere, con quelle robine stilizzate su un cielo chiaro. 🎆

Poi vabbè, questa non è #interfaccia, ma anche la musica ci va pesante. Se non fosse una battuta sovrausata che non ha mai fatto ridere, direi che non ha proprio il diritto di spaccare così tanto, per un giochino dove apri le bustine o ottieni le cartine facendo banali scambini e peschine. 🎃

Ogni sezione principale della app (cioè, qualsiasi schermata non-overlay) ha la sua musichetta, ma devo dire che mi piacciono molto quella molto rilassante della home, e quella più energica sfumata della pesca misteriosa (in corso, non il menu). Chillin’ proprio. 👌

the layers are part of the Pickhandle and Barstow formations laid down in the Miocene. The darker purplish rock is an intrusion of #rhyolitic #breccia.
If the rock colors appear familiar you may have seen similar combinations of these formations in the Opal Mountains, Rainbow Basin, and Calico Mountains near Barstow, CA.
