DOL 2017Perfect Sunday morning music over coffee.
The great Lee Morgan on trumpet, Paul Chambers on bass and Philly Joe Jones on drums, among others. DOL have a mixed reputation, and I don’t have another pressing to compare this to, but to me it sounds fantastic. Zero background noise, clear and detailed. I think these HQ virgin vinyl 180g pressings really do sound better. At least this one does.

16x20 acrylic #painting, "Ben's Blue Train World", for my 2.5yo grandson. His love of "Blue Train" comes from listening over and over to #BlueTrain by #JohnnyCash. I first made a little #woodentrain so I could replicate it in the painting. My grandson requested theses details: blue castle, based on 3D wooden castle I painted for both my grandsons; horse is based on Elsa's "Blue Horse of Water" (as we calls it) in #Frozen movies; red cardinal flying in the sky.

2014 U.S. Remastered ReissueWanted some #jazz this morning for breakfast to go along with my apple pancakes, and when my teenage son said he hadn’t heard much of Coltrane outside of A Love Supreme, I knew this was the one.
Be careful son. Like many other horrible viruses, some jazz is more infectious than other jazz.
