    In 1902, he purchased land called #Batemans in #EastSussex.

    After winning the #NobelPrize for #Literature, he spent his #Prize money on his #Garden w/ a #SecretDoor & #Sundial inscribed:
    "It's #Later than you think."

    Ruddy kept a little boat in his #Pond for his kids; #Friends had adventures there, too.
    After some names in the family #Guestbook, Rudyard added the letters F.I.P. for Fell in Pool. 💦😂
