Featured in Monty Python and the Holy Grail as Castle Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh!, Castle Stalker stands on a small tidal islet on Loch Laich in Port #Appin, #Argyll, #Scotland. It was originally built by the MacDougalls in 1320 but then it changed hands to the Stewarts who subsequently lost it to the Campbells in a drunken bet. The Stewarts bought the #castle back in early 20th century after it was abandoned by the Campbells for years.
