  2. An #Osprey (#PandionHaliaetus) gives Fox (the #photographer) a side-glance. The #fishhawk, as it is sometimes called, has excellent #vision, and can quickly dive down out of the air, nearly submerging themselves in the #water, to catch #fish. They are also called #riverhawk or #seahawk. Their #diet is mainly #fish, but they will eat other small #animals. They rarely #scavenge.
    This osprey is siting on a pole at the #Apopka #Wildlife Drive in #Florida. When Fox began triggering the #shutter, the #bird heard the sound and glanced around to make sure Fox wasn’t up to anything more than #photography.
