Ce n'est pas juste la température qui augmente, c'est le réchauffement (excès de Joules) qui s’accroît! Ce qui signifie que la température croît non linéairement, de plus en plus vite.

@Elizafox The discussion of death changes when it's no longer our individual selves considered (we all inevitably die), but the potential extinction of Earth's current megafauna (including humans).
I still refuse to be zen about the die offs associated with #AbruptClimateChange. Not while we still technically have a chance to save the biosphere.

@pnathan Central committees are good once adequately informed (namely, the implications of near-term #AbruptClimateChange, long term insolvency of USD and other fiat currencies, peak cheap oil).
Getting such a committee elected in the first place is practically impossible right now.
A lot of cities are putting big money towards grid-tied solar, oblivious that climate change is now runaway. Those funds would be better spent on resilience, local food security, and lower energy lifestyles.
