Nathan Letwory aka jesterKing is working on #Blender add-on to import #3dm file in with some curves and annotation, 3D objects are in mesh, until Blender introduce trimmed capability but I think it don't happen soon, for now no Linux but there is a Windows and MacOS, the import_3dm v0.0.12 add-on can be downloaded from GitHub https://github.com/jesterKing/import_3dm/releases or directly at https://www.rhino3d.com/download/rhino/8/import_3dm/

The developer of #Moi3D Michael Gibson is great man, that has no worries about others software, also gives advice on other software to use, it is likely that he is fed up with constant requests based on the trending application of the moment, things that will happens all the time.
I think he's a great developer in fact he was the author of #Rhinoceros, which few people know. #3dm #CAD #3d #nurbs #Plasticity3D

I convert all the #CAD files that are in #STEP and #IGES and also in 3dm in the native format of #FreeCAD, for those in #3dm I will do the conversion in two steps, these huge formats cannot be stored, they eat the space on the HD, the worst is 3dm, huge proprietary format. #fc3d
