Die Dunkelziffer bei der #Pflegebedürftigkeit lichtet sich so langsam, wie eine Untersuchung¹ des #IGES jetzt ergab: Der Anspruch auf Leistungen aus der #Pflegeversicherung scheint sich herumgesprochen zu haben und Betroffene melden ihre Ansprüche offenbar früher an als noch vor 10 Jahren. So sei der Anteil der Pflegebedürftigen an der Gesamtbevölkerung von 4,6 % im Jahr 2017 auf 7,6 % im Jahr 2024 gestiegen. Auffällig sei der Anstieg vor allem in den niedrigeren Pflegegraden und bei jüngeren Menschen.
Das erklärt wohl auch, dass Frau Warken die Hürden für eine Zuerkennung des Versicherungsfalls höher legen und damit auf dem Rücken der geringer Betroffen sparen und also auch hier die Arbeit auf die kostenlose Angehörigenarbeit verlagern will.

After a bunch of attempts to fix mistakes I'd made while making this model with #SurfacePsycho, I finally managed to export a file that opens without any issues in every #CAD program I've tried. The best part is that it doesn't throw any errors when I use #FreeCAD's TechDraw #b3d Anyway, the #IGES file is now flawless, no problems at all! #opensource #design

Anyway, don't even peek at the geometry nodes of #SurfacePsycho add-on, it might give you a headache, and you risk not finding your way out! That's how it is for every #NURBS surface, it's packed with nodes and math. It's mind-blowing to think that everything was built using geometry nodes. #b3d #Blender3D #CAD #STEP #IGES

The #SurfacePsycho add-on for #Blender can now import #NURBS files as actual NURBS #surfaces, not meshes. It's the biggest leap forward #b3d has seen in years when it comes to Nurbs, and it's awesome to finally be able to bring in #IGES or #STEP surfaces. It works on Linux, Windows, and macOS too, a huge step for the Blender community! #CAD

Dass Leute pflegebedürftig werden, weil sie sich schlicht kaputtgearbeitet haben, findet weder im Gesetz noch im o. a. IGES-Gutachten seinen Niederschlag.
Ich sehe das schon kommen, dass pflegebedürftig Werdende mit dem »Selbst-schuld-Argument« von Versicherungsleistungen ausgeschlossen werden. Statt dass mal für anständige Arbeitsbedingungen gesorgt wird.

I’ve added the option to use a custom mesh and apply a displacement effect to it. In this case, I created a very simple bag and applied a texture using an image. Now, the geometry nodes in #Blender 5.0 offer greater flexibility, allowing me to work with image textures more effectively. #b3d #Blender3d #CAD #IGES

Between last night and today, I created a geometric node for #Blender, which is now complete and lets you generate #procedural geometries. The node was designed to meet the needs of #CAD programs, and in this latest version, you can also use an image to create specific geometries that can be exported to #IGES format using subdivision surfaces. #b3d #Blender3D

Hey, I’ve been running some tests and found that #IGES export only works if you convert to PsychoPatch. So, I’ll need to install that add-on. For now, this solution seems like a decent compromise, and I reckon a lot of folks in the #automotive industry might find it interesting, at least until Francesco Siddi, the new CEO, decides it’s time to give some love to this part of #Blender that’s been neglected for 20 years. #b3d #CAD #NURBS

I've asked to #AI, an add-on to export #SubD to #NURBS from #b3d, the add-on managed to export something to both IGES and STEP, there are no errors, the exported files contain data structures but unfortunately any #CAD app managed to open those, although that seem like a failure, it's not, in fact it is the first time that I get an add-on that exports both in #IGES and in #STEP directly from #Blender without using external library, maybe next time I could be able to have a working add-on.

OK I found a way to import #IGES files into #b3d with the same topology as Nurbs surfaces, as soon as I have done some tests I will make a post on #Blender Aritst to share this workaround, this allow the use of SubD modifiers on original Nurbs imported as OBJ in #Blender3D

This is my final node to make procedural displacement with geometry nodes, as you can see I have also used the exported mesh for the conversion into #IGES so I can import it in any #CAD, the video show that is possible to use the bitmaps or the procedural textures. #b3d #Blender #Blender3D

Basic Geometry Nodes to make many other abstract geometry that can be easily exported as SubD, and imported in a #CAD via several ways such as #Moi3D or #IGES Add-on for #Blender, but there is also a way to do it with FreeShip that convert SubD into Iges, unfortunately FreeShip import only VRML1 but there are few applications that converted OBJ into VRML1
I used a simple plane with this node rig.
There is also one with image texture that allow the use of bitmap #b3d #Blender3d -
#gCAD3D saved me many times, is a small application that open #DXFs the older versions, but save files into #IGES or #STEP and permit me to works with plans of others, sometime is hard to opens file from other but in somewhat this small application heal those messy #CADs, it is only 1.7mb, it opens also STEP or IGES but isn't always the best way, but many times is the only way.

I've just dropped two #propellers done with #SubD in #Blender and converted into #IGES and then to other #CAD formats.
