If you want to do your remote job from another country:
- First, talk to the employer in case their are security, tax, or contract restrictions.
- Check if the country you are interested legally allows digital nomad visas
- Understand the tax and work restrictions included in that arrangement.
If you can't digital nomad, look at something like a con that pays travel. Conference attendance is usually a business visitor activity.
You can also look at a temp or permanent transfer with your company to their local, visa sponsoring unit.
None of this is easy, but it will keep you from deportation.
You can’t just do your remote job in a foreign country without the right visa. Several South East Asian counties are booting out Americans and Europeans for visa violations like this. When I moved to Australia, which has no digital nomad, I had to fly to New Zealand to not violate my visa if I just wanted to give an hour long online talk for America.
Note that neither class allows substantial productive work even for your employer back home. There’s a visa class for remote workers to do that in some countries and it’s a digital nomad visa. It’s often a real application, time bounded, and may have tax obigations. Not all allow it at all.

If we want a DID method that is "strongly-consistent, recoverable, and allows for key rotation"1 then the options are a central registry or blockchains ... no?
I'm not going to fall back to using non-EFI anymore unless I'm trying to do old i386-only things. "EFI working" is the new floor here. "Secure boot works" hopefully won't have to become the new expectation, though I fear I'm being pushed that way, so I'm going to need to work out how to make my wanted OS boot without disabling secure boot.

Проект активно развивается, поэтому отдельные CLI-команды и Compose-возможности могут меняться между релизами. Как всегда, всё начинается со специфического запроса от Заказчика: «Мы хотим забыть Kubernetes как страшный сон и вернуться к Docker Compose!». На этом месте, наверное, многие DevOps-инженеры с пониманием улыбнутся. Но после ещё было: «Только, пожалуйста, сделайте так, чтобы было возможно масштабирование. И ещё бесшовное обновление приложений! Но чтобы остался Docker Compose». В этот момент становится понятно, что задача перестает быть тривиальной. А если оставить Docker Compose, но добавить к нему часть возможностей, ради которых в подобных сценариях начинают рассматривать Kubernetes? Оказывается, можно. Есть целый класс промежуточных решений: Docker Swarm, Nomad, Kamal, различные PaaS-инструменты, собственные deployment-скрипты. И еще — Uncloud.
